Erika Eckart is a mother, writer and English teacher living in Oak Park, IL. Her prose poems have appeared in Double Room, Quarter After Eight, Quick Fiction, Women’s Studies Quarterly, Nano Fiction, and Quiditty, among many others. She is currently working on a novel about the intersections between an evil energy mega-corporation, a communist cult leader, and a popular high school student found dead in a river.
